Ingredients:
- Besan flour – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 1 tsp
- Butter – 1 tsp
- Omam (ajwain) – 1 tsp
- Water – ¼ cup
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Procedure:
- Soak omam in hot water for 30 minutes and then strain water.
- Grind omam to paste and mix it with the besan flour, rice flour mixture .
- Add melted butter and make dough using water. Then place the dough in the murukku maker( cookie press), use the omapodi achu and press it in the hot oil.
- Fry it in a medium flame or else it will be burnt easily.
